Chain Reaction

In this beginner-level workshop, we will build simple and complex chains from sheet and wire links. While making these chains, participants will learn the basics of cutting, forming, texturing, soldering, and finishing metal. Participants will leave with a variety of wearable necklaces and bracelets. Exclusive for beginners.
J Taran Diamond (she/her) is a metalsmith and craft educator based in Baltimore, MD. Diamond received an MFA from the University of Georgia, in addition to a BFA from the University of North Texas. Her work has been exhibited nationally and internationally, including exhibitions at the Fuller Craft Museum in Brockton, MA, the Czong Institute of Contemporary Art in Gimpo, South Korea, and the Baltimore Jewelry Center, where she is currently a Teaching Fellow and Studio Manager.
