The Wisdom from Touching Clay
Moon Jar by Christopher Staley, 2025. Stoneware, 21" x 24".
This workshop will focus on making pots personal and the art of teaching. Often, the two undertakings go hand in hand. There will be frequent demonstrations on a myriad of throwing and hand-building techniques. We will fire reduction and salt kilns. In addition, we will engage in creative exercises that will inspire questions and dialogue. One-on-one conversations will enrich the learning experience. With an open heart and seeker’s spirit, all are welcome in this shared search for meaning. All levels welcome.
