Haystack Mountain School of Crafts
The history of Haystack, the architecture and building use, and the workshops and other programs available through the school, are among the topics discussed during a campus tour.

Tours of the campus are offered throughout the summer on Wednesdays at 1:00 pm and lasts approximately one hour. Visitors, potential students, family and friends are welcome to join a guided tour of the school.

The first tour of the summer season is offered when the core program begins in June, and the last is offered at the end of August. Nearly 500 visitors take part in these tours annually. Tour admission is $5.00/person.

Other than the Wednesday tours, studios are closed to visitors. People who visit on non-tour days may walk down the central stairs as well as visit the school store. The Evening Program Series, held in Haystack’s Gateway Auditorium, are free and open to the public. Please join us when you are “on island.”
