Haystack Mountain School of Crafts
The history of Haystack, the architecture and building use, and the workshops and other programs available through the school, are among the topics discussed during a campus tour.

A weekly tour of Haystack's campus is offered throughout the summer on Wednesdays at 1:00 pm and lasts approximately one hour. Visitors, potential students, family and friends are welcome to join this guided tour of the school. Nearly 500 visitors take part in these tours annually. Tour admission is $5.00/person.

The first tour of the summer season is offered the first week in June, when the core program begins, and the last is offered during the week of the last session, which will be the first week of September.

Other than the Wednesday tours, studios are closed to visitors. People who visit on non-tour days may walk down the central stairs as well as visit the school store. Events that are held as part of Haystack's Summer Evening Program Series, are held in the school's Gateway Auditorium (unless otherwise noted), and are free and open to the public. Please join us for these summer events when you are “on island.”
